One of the inherent benefits of investing in a franchise is the camaraderie found amongst franchisees. There is comfort in knowing you are not alone as a small-business owner. In a reputable franchise, you will be connected to your fellow franchisees and can often “phone a friend” for advice. But first, it’s important to make that initial connection — that’s where an annual conference can come into play.

The Importance of an Annual Conferences in Franchising

Annual conferences are the perfect way for new franchisees to meet and network with other franchisees who they otherwise may never have met. It’s an opportunity for small-business owners to build a sense of community. While that may seem like a nice perk, it’s actually a crucial component to a successful franchise. By forming bonds during an annual convention, franchisees can learn, grow and bounce ideas off of one another in person. Brand conferences can prevent a brand from becoming stagnant.

Additionally, these annual conferences are a great way for corporate offices to check in with franchisees and offer educational and training courses as well.

The FISH 2019 Conference

Franchisees who attended the event enjoyed informational presentations, OSHA training sessions, educational workshops, social events, an award presentation ceremony and much more.
