I'm a native Memphian with what could be gently described as a diverse career. I grew up in Raleigh/Bartlett, graduated from CBHS in 1981, and went to GA Tech on a Navy scholarship. After 5 years of seeing the world from the deck of a ship and many years as a corporate vagabond, I came back to Memphis in 2014 for family. I'm the proud father of two adult children, a son and a daughter, and the joyful grandfather of one and soon to be a second grandson.

I never imagined that after many years of Fortune 500 executive work, the cleaning skills, work ethic, and handyman skills I learned as a child would be the capstone of my working life. I've had the opportunity to build a big (900 ft, 42,000 ton) ship, led turnarounds that saved manufacturing businesses from shutdown four times, and taught and coached the Toyota Production system. I love building people and fixing things. Yet there is something very satisfying in making a window clean and bright and in getting to visit with our many regular customers.

I chose to open a franchise because I wanted to stay in Memphis and the pandemic limited local opportunities for my professional skills. Fish was my best choice because the corporate team was full of people of integrity and goodwill and worked from a relationship of trust. After many years, I know that working with quality people is extremely important, and our team tries to bring that integrity and goodwill to our Mid-South customers as well.
