For example, we may retain your data for as long as you are a customer of ours so that we may process and complete any orders you may make with us. We may also be required to hold some types of information to fulfill legal purposes. We review our retention periods for personal information on a regular basis. When the relevant processing activity has been completed, we may destroy your data, or alternatively anonymize the data, such that the data is not personally identifiable.

Right to Opt-Out
Some US states provide residents or, in some cases, their authorized agents, with the right to opt out of the “selling” or “sharing” of their personal information, or of “targeted advertising” based on their personal information. If you exercise those rights, we may have to subsequently inform you that you need to opt-in if the sale or sharing of your personal information is required to complete a transaction you have initiated. If opting-in is required, we will provide you with the necessary instructions.
- If you would like to request that we do not “sell” or “share” your personal information or you would like to opt out of targeted advertising, click here or call (877) 707-3474. The link will take you to an interactive webform that you can complete and submit to make a request for deletion; if you use the telephone number, you will be guided through a process that will allow you to submit a request.
- If you used an authorized agent to submit your request to opt-out, we will request that the agent provide us with proof that you have authorized them to act on your behalf.
Non-Discrimination

- Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including granting discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties;
- Provide you a different level or quality of goods or services; or

While these rights are not globally applicable, users or Site visitors residing in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia are afforded certain rights regarding their personal information. Except where an exception or exemption applies, these rights may include 1) The ability to request a copy of the information we have collected about you during the previous 12 months, as well as the right to review our data collection practices related to you (a “Personal Information Request”); 2) The ability to request deletion, correction, or limitation of your personal information; and 3) The right not to be discriminated against due to your exercise of any of the preceding rights. In General. We respect your right to make choices about the ways we collect, use, and disclose the information you provide on or through the Site and Services. We strive to provide choices to you at a meaningful time and in a meaningful place. This section describes some of your other choices, such as your choice to opt out of receiving non-Essential “cookies.”
Do Not Track Mechanisms. Your browser may deliver a “Do-Not-Track (‘DNT’) signal” to the Site or Services. Because of the changing state of technology and indecision within the technology and marketing industries regarding the meaning of DNT signals, we cannot guarantee that the Site or Services will respond to DNT signals.
Previously Expressed Preferences. You may change previously expressed preferences regarding how we use information you provide on or through the Site. For example, if you have provided your contact information and receive periodic emails from us, you may decide to stop receiving those emails by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in an email’s footer. You may be able to change other preferences through an account you create on the Site. Otherwise, please contact us using the information provided below to change previously expressed preferences.
If you created an account on the Site or Services, you may be able to access, update or correct your information through your account settings. Otherwise, you may need our help. If you reside in a state that provides for enhanced privacy rights, you can request disclosure, access to, correction, and/or deletion of your personal data by submitting a verifiable consumer request to us by:
- Filling out the form here, calling (877) 707-3474, or sending an e-mail to privacy@fishwindowcleaning.com including the following information along with your request: your full name, company name (if applicable), address, e-mail address, and a phone number. We may request that you provide additional information if necessary to confirm your identity. This is for security purposes and is required by law in some cases.
- Only you, or a person registered with the appropriate mechanism associated with your state of residency that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child.
- You have the right to make a free request up to two times in any 12-month period. We will respond to all validated requests within 45 days of receiving your request, unless we request an extension. If we reasonably require an extension to respond to your request, we will notify you of any such extension within the initial 45-day period.
We take the security of your personal information seriously and follow industry-standard practices to protect the data we collect and process. We maintain commercially reasonable administrative, physical, and technological measures to safeguard and secure the personal information that Fish collects. Access to personal information will be restricted to our authorized personnel who require the information to perform their duties properly. In addition, access will be limited to only that information that is strictly necessary for the performance of those duties.
Remember, the safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where you have chosen, or where we have given you a username and password for access to certain parts of the Site or Services, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so Fish cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Fish does not sell or rent any of your personal information for monetary consideration, and we do not share your personal information publicly without your consent. However, we may disclose your information to certain trusted third-party services to help us provide, improve, promote, or protect our Services. Examples follow.
With Third–Party Vendors. Fish shares information with third-party vendors who act on our behalf. For example, we may use third-party vendors to design and operate the Site; to store our data; to conduct surveys; to process your payments; or to help us with our employee recruiting and promotional efforts. These third-party vendors may need information about you to perform their obligations. Whenever we share data with third-party services, we require that they use your information only for the purposes we’ve authorized, and that they protect your personal information to at least the same standards we do.With our Franchisees and their Employees. Fish may share information collected through the Site and Services with the owner of any one of our locations that you have used or in which you have expressed interest. These franchisees are permitted to share your information with their employees for the purposes of operating their business and to use your information for their own marketing purposes and in a manner otherwise consistent with this Policy. While we require our franchisees to adhere to the principles and practices outlined in this Policy when handling personal information, each franchisee operates as an independent business. As such, we do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of our franchisees. We obligate our franchisees, through contractual agreements, to use personal information only for the purposes permitted under this Policy and applicable law.
With Third-Party Social Media Platforms. We may provide functionality on the Site that allows you to automatically post information to a third-party social media platform (such as Facebook, X, or Pinterest). If you choose to take advantage of this functionality, people with access to your profile on the third-party platform will be able to see your post. Thus, you should have no expectation of privacy in those actions. Further, if you choose to link your profile on the Site with an account on a third-party social media platform, we may share the information in your profile with that third-party platform. We may also use third-party social media platforms to offer you interest-based ads. To offer such ads, we may convert your email address into a unique value which can be matched by our partner company with a user on their platform. Although we do not provide any personal information to these platform vendors, they may gain insights about individuals who respond to the ads we serve.
In Aggregate or De-Identified Form. We use information collected through the Site and Services to create a compiled, aggregate view of usage patterns. We may share aggregate information with third parties so we and they can better understand our user base. We may also share information with third parties about how particular individuals use the Site, but only on a de-identified basis (“De-Identified Data”). De-Identified Data is not personally identifiable, but it does reflect the usage patterns of a particular Site user, as opposed to Site users collectively.
With Other, Carefully Selected Business Partners. From time to time, we may share your information with selected third parties for their own marketing purposes. For example, we may partner with third parties to sponsor contests or other promotions, and we may share with these third parties the information you submit to us to participate in the contest or take advantage of the promotion. Before doing so, however, we may offer you the opportunity to “opt out” or “opt in,” as required by applicable law.
As Part of a Business Transfer. Your information may be transferred to successor organization if, for example, we transfer the ownership or operation of the Site and Services to another organization if we merge with or are acquired by another organization, or if we liquidate our assets.
To Comply With Laws and Protection of Our Rights and the Rights of Others. We may disclose your information when we, in good faith, believe disclosure is appropriate to comply with the law or orders. We may also disclose your information to prevent or investigate a possible crime, such as fraud or identity theft; to protect the security of the Site; to enforce or apply our online Terms of Use or other agreements; or to protect our own rights or property or the rights, property, or safety of others.
As Described in a Privacy Notice or Click-Through Agreement. We reserve the right to disclose your information as described in any privacy notice posted on the Site, or as described in any click-through agreement to which you have agreed.
We also reserve the right to disclose personal information (including sensitive information) when it is reasonably necessary to conduct our business, protect Fish’s legal rights and property, and to comply with the law or orders. Otherwise, your personal information is not shared with any individual or other organization.
SMS consent and phone numbers provided for SMS purposes will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
We are proud of the Site and we strive to ensure that it doesn’t offend people of any age. However, the Site is not intended for children or minors under the age of thirteen (13) years without the permission of a parent or guardian. Fish does not knowingly solicit or collect any personal information from anyone under 13 years of age, and children under 13 are not permitted to register for or use our Site or Services, including by subscribing to receive information from Fish. If you believe that a child has submitted personal information on or through the Site without the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian, please contact us using the information provided below so that we can take appropriate action. If we become aware that a child under the age of 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it.
We are continually improving and adding to the features and functionality of the Site and Services. As a result of these changes (or changes in the law), we may need to update or revise this Policy from time to time. If we do, we’ll let you know about any material changes, either by notifying you on the Site or by sending you an email. Any updates to this Policy will not apply retroactively. Your continued use of the Site or Services after we have posted the revised Policy constitutes your agreement to be bound by the revised Policy.
