8.Retention

We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary to perform the relevant processing activity for that information, or as long as is set out in any relevant contract you hold with us. The relevant retention period is determined on a case-by-case basis because it depends on things like the nature of the data, why it is collected, why it is processed, and any relevant legal or operational retention needs. For example, we may retain your data for as long as you are a customer of ours so that we may process and complete any orders you may make with us.   • Filling out the form here, calling (877) 707-3474, or sending an e-mail to privacy@fishwindowcleaning.com including the following information along with your request: your full name, company name (if applicable), address, e-mail address, and a phone number. We may request that you provide additional information if necessary to confirm your identity. This is for security purposes and is required by law in some cases. 
  • Only you, or a person registered with the appropriate mechanism associated with your state of residency that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child.
  • You have the right to make a free request up to two times in any 12-month period. We will respond to all validated requests within 45 days of receiving your request, unless we request an extension. If we reasonably require an extension to respond to your request, we will notify you of any such extension within the initial 45-day period.

12. Steps We Take to Safeguard your Information

We take the security of your personal information seriously and follow industry-standard practices to protect the data we collect and process. We maintain commercially reasonable administrative, physical, and technological measures to safeguard and secure the personal information that Fish collects. Access to personal information will be restricted to our authorized personnel who require the information to perform their duties properly. In addition, access will be limited to only that information that is strictly necessary for the performance of those duties.
Remember, the safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where you have chosen, or where we have given you a username and password for access to certain parts of the Site or Services, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so Fish cannot guarantee its absolute security.

13. How We Share Information

Fish does not sell or rent any of your personal information for monetary consideration, and we do not share your personal information publicly without your consent.  However, we may disclose your information to certain trusted third-party services to help us provide, improve, promote, or protect our Services. Examples follow.
 

With Third–Party Vendors

. Fish shares information with third-party vendors who act on our behalf. For example, we may use third-party vendors to design and operate the Site; to store our data; to conduct surveys; to process your payments; or to help us with our employee recruiting and promotional efforts. These third-party vendors may need information about you to perform their obligations. With our Franchisees and their Employees

. Fish may share information collected through the Site and Services with the owner of any one of our locations that you have used or in which you have expressed interest. While we require our franchisees to adhere to the principles and practices outlined in this Policy when handling personal information, each franchisee operates as an independent business. With Third-Party Social Media Platforms

. We may provide functionality on the Site that allows you to automatically post information to a third-party social media platform (such as Facebook, X, or Pinterest). If you choose to take advantage of this functionality, people with access to your profile on the third-party platform will be able to see your post. Thus, you should have no expectation of privacy in those actions. Further, if you choose to link your profile on the Site with an account on a third-party social media platform, we may share the information in your profile with that third-party platform. We may also use third-party social media platforms to offer you interest-based ads. To offer such ads, we may convert your email address into a unique value which can be matched by our partner company with a user on their platform. Although we do not provide any personal information to these platform vendors, they may gain insights about individuals who respond to the ads we serve.
 

In Aggregate or De-Identified Form

14. Children Under the Age of Sixteen

We are proud of the Site and we strive to ensure that it doesn’t offend people of any age. However, the Site is not intended for children or minors under the age of sixteen (16) years without the permission of a parent or guardian. Fish does not knowingly solicit or collect any personal information from anyone under 16 years of age, and children under 16 are not permitted to register for or use our Site or Services, including by subscribing to receive information from Fish.
